“The scientific worker seizes upon the inexplicable phenomenon as he would upon a suddenly discovered treasure. The more unexplainable and mysterious it is, the more insight it will yield when eventually explained”

J.B. Rhine (1948, p.14)

Courses

Third year course on “Perspectives on Anomalous Experiences”

As a team, we have delivered a third year option course exploring paranormal, anomalous and transpersonal experiences for over ten years.  This was part of our BSc (HONS) BA combined awards in Psychology.  In the academic year 2009-10 we are not delivering the module but hope to return with a new version from 2010.
Students can also undertake final year dissertations on parapsychological or anomalistic psychology topics.

For those looking to complete a course in Parapsychology we offer a module during the final year of the undergraduate psychology degree at Hope.  If you are interested in psychology and parapsychology this might be the answer for you:

If you are already doing a degree somewhere else and/or just want to explore a standalone course on parapsychology or undertake MSc in the topic then see these online courses:
