Welcome to the Evolutionary Psychology Research Groups internet site. We are based at the psychology and biology departments in Liverpool Hope University, in the Hilda Constance Allen building (East Wing). One of the aims of the group is to understand human behaviour form a Darwinian perspective, investigating phenomena such as altruism, criminal behaviour and paranormal experiences. We are passionate about teaching and researching evolutionary psychology, and are eager to engage students in our work, either as participants or research assistants. We are also hoping to build more links with other research groups, in order to allow staff and student exchange across Europe.
