Year 1The aim of this module is to give students an introduction to the knowledge, understanding and skills involved in teaching ICT to primary children. The module will involve the study of curriculum content and the basic theory which underpins the delivery of ICT within National Curriculum subject teaching. The module will further develop the students' personal skills using ICT to enhance their own studies and lesson preparation. Throughout the module students' knowledge for the Initial Teacher Training ICT Standards will be addressed and developed. You will be required to fill in a self assessment Audit in the first sessions so it would really help if you could do this beforehand. They can be found on Moodle Audit09.
